A University of Houston graduate student is doing an unusual study. He’s going to give away 20-gauge single-shot shotguns in high-crime neighborhoods to see if it reduces crime. Israel solved both airline hijackings and school shootings by training and arming crews and staff. All school shootings and airline hijackings resulting in the 9-11 disaster would most certainly been prevented or mitigated if staff and crews had been armed. We desperately need to do the same nation wide.
