President Obama Heckled over GITMO during Speech

Going off-script after his speech came to a stand still, the president remarked, “I’m willing to cut that young lady interrupting me some slack, because it’s worth being passionate about…” And later, “The voice of that woman is worth paying attention to.”
However, the president failed to provide direct leadership on the GITMO issue claiming that it was the fault of Republicans and congress.
Sure to be a hero with civil libertarians, the heckler was Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin.
