VIDEO: Rand Paul press conference to challenge NSA surveillance programs

On Thursday, Rep. Mark Sanford, Matt Kibbe (FreedomWorks CEO), Rep. Louie Gohmert, Rep. Mick Mulvaney, Laura Murphy (ACLU Director), Bruce Fein (constitutional lawyer), Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Justin Amash participated in a press conference in opposition to recently revealed details of NSA spying.

“Americans are rightly concerned about having all of their phone records collected and monitored all of the time,” said Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., announcing that he and other civil liberties advocates will “be challenging the constitutionality of the court order” that paved the way for the controversial NSA surveillance programs. – CBS
