Russian troops digging trenches on the Crimean border
The latest updates on the volatile situation in the Ukraine: This morning, on Meet the Press, Sec. of State John Kerry threatened sanctions against Russia (and removing them from the G8)–raising the possibility of visa bans, asset freezes, and trade and investments. David Gregory twice asked Kerry “if there is a military option in Ukraine?” Kerry twice says, “No.” However, “there could even be ultimately asset freezes” if Putin does not withdraw Russian forces from Ukraine.
