Crying for Crybullies

This is going to be a montage post of Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) crying about microaggressions. Starting with the aftermath of Milo on the campus of DePaul.

UPDATE: Activist Threat Directed at ‘Feminism Is Cancer’ Event

UC Santa Barbara Police are investigating an apparent threat of violence made Thursday night on Facebook targeting the “Feminism Is Cancer” event at Corwin Pavilion.

A user named Rick Chavez posted on the Facebook event page at 5:26 p.m., writing, “the course of action I take tonight will be in honor of elliot rodgers … i’m sorry mom i love you.”

Elliot Rodger was a Santa Barbara City College student who, in May 2014, killed six UCSB students in Isla Vista using a knife and several guns before ending his own life.

UCSB Police Chief Dustin Olson said during the event that the department was “looking into” the threat. Olson confirmed that the Facebook post is the only known threat directed at the event but said he could not gauge the credibility of the threat.

After the lecture, Katya Armistead, the dean of student life, said the campus is safe.

Other threats were made against free speech or worse…

DO NOT BULLY THESE PEOPLE BACK (We found the source and it is not set to private.)

This is a professor:

Allegedly, the Women’s Studies Dept. and a group of students wrote the following…

We categorically reject this apology and ask that Rev. Holtschneider clarify whether this apology represents the University’s official position regarding College Republicans actions at yesterday’s event. The Women and Gender Studies students who were harassed on social media by Mr. Y in advance of his appearance are still awaiting an apology, as are the already marginalized students who felt their physical safety was threatened by the deliberate escalation of the conflict by Mr. Y and those students who hosted him…His sexist and racist rhetoric is not a marginalized or diverse point of view. They and he represent a violent and vocal status quo. It is our view that College Republicans leadership used the event to stoke racial and gendered conflict and create a climate of fear and intimidation on campus for minority students. Furthermore, because the flyer used to market the event to students deliberately attacked feminists and explicitly named “gender studies” departments [SHOTS FIRED], their sponsorship and solicitation of Mr. Y constituted a threat to our right to exist as a department, and to conduct feminist inquiry as a course of study.

As students of feminist theory, we are committed to liberation for the oppressed and their ability to lead lives of their choosing, free of violence. In their choice to bring Mr. Y to our school and engage wholeheartedly in hateful rhetoric, College Republicans have not only subjected the marginalized in our University community to violence, but have forced us to call the mission and legitimacy of their organization into question.

In his email to students and faculty, Rev. Holtschneider mentioned the Bill of Rights. However, it is not only the First Amendment that governs speech on campus, but also the University’s own policies. College Republicans have this year engaged in a pattern of discriminatory speech, including multiple incidents where racialized rhetoric was chalked across campus. This must stop. We believe that this pattern violates the Standards of Involvement governing student organizations, the first of which requires that student organizations uphold “the Vincentian values of diversity, pluralism, socially responsible leadership, mission, and service.” The Student Organization Handbook explicitly references the University policy on speech, which states: “Speech whose primary purpose is to wound is inconsistent with our Vincentian and Catholic values.” University’s own mission and policies in mind, we are calling for an immediate investigation into the conduct of College Republicans at yesterday’s event and incidents prior, and a review of their charter as an official University organization. Until that review is complete we demand that funding for College Republicans and their campus activities cease.

Sincerely,
DePaul Women and Gender Studies Students and Faculty (Names withheld from source)

WE ARE WORKING TO CONFIRM IF THIS IS LEGIT. It was posted by a student of DePaul active with the Gender Studies Dept.

The DePaul Black Student Union is prepared to, “battle to eradicate hate speech on our campus.” Clearly, they are the judge and jury of all speech.

DISCLAIMER: Do not use this as an excuse to target or bully these poor snowflakes…sorry, it’s so hard, deep breath. Let’s try again. If a crime has been committed, by all means report it to the police and, if you are able, describe to us the body count and what kind of knife was held to your throat.

One of the reasons this current wave of social justice mania is going to fail is because their language is becoming a self-parody. All they can spout are embarrassing buzzwords. This is a clue to just how vapid the movement is.

“Safe space?” Sorry, South Park already ruined that one for you.

You may want to watch these videos with the song playing…

UPDATE: Milo speaks tonight in California at UCSB, so you can imagine…This guy is disgusting, I agree, but he trolls ya’ll so well:

You also come across the demand that college admins, “create a home.” You’d think that college campuses are as dangerous as The Congo.

“Check your privilege.” People say this? This young womyn explains what it REALLY means.

This one is amazing. Edward Ward, the ring-leader gets into a “check your privilege” shouting match. The Armenian student gives it right back, telling him to, “Check your privilege!” I see your #BlackLivesMatter and raise you an Armenian!

“Trigger warning?”

“Harm.” I’m sure they are talking about the treatment of womyn in the Middle East, right? Could ignoring the Bill of Rights also cause harm?

This one is at least more interesting. Admitting that they gave Milo what he wanted.

A young Muslim womyn declares that Muhammad was a SJW at DePaul before the Milo event. Listen for the snapping…that’s apparently because clapping can be triggering and intimidating.

At this feminists conference they recommended “jazz hands.”

These poor kids. Students at Oberlin are literally petitioning their administration to “eliminate grades below C” so they can do more social justice activism.
