Rand Paul Nullify Threat Goes VIRAL!

Senator Rand Paul’s threat to “nullify” unconstitutional executive orders by President Obama has gone viral. With over 14,000 28,000 comments on the Huffington Post article in less than 24 hrs.  Screenshot:

TPM has now posted, see below, the full text of Senator Paul’s “Separation of Powers Restoration and Second Amendment Protection Act.” The key to the act is as follows, “Any executive order by President Obama infringing on the Second Amendment rights of all Americans would be declared null and void.” It would also “prohibit federal funds to implement President Obama’s executive orders impacting the 2nd Amendment.” (Don’t miss the classic video on nullification by Tom Woods at the end of this article.)

While Senator Paul’s proposal is different from historical state nullification, this exposure of the term provides a golden opportunity to explain the history of nullification to your friends, both liberal and conservative.
