MUSIC: A bit late to the latest from Augustines

Not sure how I missed this? I could have used some overly emotional music that tries to maintain a certain level of masculinity this dreary Winter. Ah, well…I’m actually listening to this while I post it, so I’m going to withhold judgement. I thought their name was “We Are Augustines,” I guess they are now the band ‘formerly known as…’

I still think it’s best to judge a band in live performance. And live shows like this are likely taped in the early morning. Who’s ready to sing like this at 8am? They rework an older song (Chapel Song) at 15:55. Make sure to catch that one…

Apparently, the lead singer wants us to believe he takes the 3rd shift with the dock workers–probably even time travels back to the 1940s for his shifts. I’m suspicious.
