Noose at DePaul appears to be a hoax
Unlike the mainstream media, it took a blogger about four hours to find and debunk reports of a noose found on the campus of Depaul University in Chicago. First, here’s what the media reported.
CHICAGO — DePaul University has received multiple reports of a noose found on its Lincoln Park campus, according to a campus alert.
“Late this afternoon we received multiple reports that a noose – a horrific symbol of racist intimidation – was found on the Lincoln Park campus,” the alert read. Students say it was hanging from the Sanctuary Hall dorm entrance. A photo featuring a rope on a sidewalk has been circulating among students on social media.DePaul released a campus-wide alert, saying that the matter is under investigation. Anyone who is found to be responsible will be held accountable.
From the initial reports, Mike Cernovich was able to find another person posting, seemingly, the same photo several hours earlier. Looking at her (now deleted) profile, he noticed she had asked, “How can I get famous?” When he asked her questions and warned her about false reporting to the police, she deleted the Tweet.
Proving yet again the media has no integrity, “journalists” are reporting that a noose was discovered on DePaul’s Chicago campus.
The hate crime hoax was started by a Twitter user who posted, the day after Milo Yiannopoulos’s talk…

Later, another person decided to claim they took what appears to be the same photo at 6:39pm:

This is the Tweet now being spread by mainstream media.
Now, I could be wrong. What do you think? I call hoax on this one.
The atmosphere of the regressive left is so toxic to intelligent discourse that you can almost understand why a young skull full of mush would fake something like this. I mean, if systematic oppression [insert favorite buzzwords], capitalism and the white patriarchy are as bad as they say, the end justifies the means, right? If you don’t see a noose on the way to your Queering Motherhood/gender studies class, you probably just missed it. It’s gotta be there.
Is it okay to be skeptical? Or do we have to listen, and believe?
