Dems Meltdown over Hillary attending Trump inauguration
There’s nothing like the scent of power to draw in the stray cats. Despite the election being personally “hacked” by Vladimir Putin and handed over to a neo-nazi who kicks babies out of rallies, and presumably, into shark infested waters off the side of aircraft carriers, Hillary Clinton will attend the upcoming inauguration.
The reactions were predictable and entirely reasonable…
Maybe by the law he was put into power but at whose peril? Interference by Russia… All kinds of disqualifying ethics. Are you kidding me? Just because it is the law…We don’t have to normalize grabbing women’s p…. and calling people fat and ugly and enabling fascism just because it’s here. – Vetwife from Dailykos.
This does not mean that we have to attend the party. Neonazis have a constitutional right to march in Skokie, Illinois, where many concentration camp survivors lived. The Supreme Court said so. This does not mean that you or I have to join the march. – Asterisk from Dailykos.
Well I am tired of being polite…Many people are going to suffer and die…NONE of this is normal. – Vetwife from Dailykos.
In a war, symbolism matters. And yes, we are in a war. – Cupajoe from DailyKos.
NOTE: Yes, according to Sen McCain, Keith Olbermann and Cenk, this is WAR!

I would like to see Obama and all former presidents stay away. I think it would drive home the point that this is not normal. There is nothing normal about what Trump and his minions are doing and it is a threat to democracy. – hnichols from Dailykos.
The ongoing russo-alt-nazi-gop coup could be described as a “peaceful transfer of power”, like embezzlement could be described as a “peaceful transfer of assets”.
On that basis, I would have preferred to see HRC upfront at subsequent day’s Women’s march. Who knows? maybe she’ll cover them both… – jakebob from Dailykos.
I don’t think she would go unless she thought that perhaps Trump would reignite the investigative process if he felt slighted. – Doug in SF from Dailykos.
