President Trump announces plan to bring troops home from Afghanistan
President Trump delayed his yet to be delivered speech at CPAC 2020 to provide a live announcement from the White House of his plan to bring troops home from Afghanistan. The press badgered the president, referring to criticisms from his former national security adviser John Bolton. The president seemed terse and annoyed at times. In a final shouted question (a good one), a journalist asked, “How soon do you expect troops to start coming back?” President Trump responded, “…like today.” Scroll down to see the full presser with Q & A in the iroots.org tweet.
