Fresh off his disdain of Senator Paul’s (R – KY) filibuster of domestic drones, Senator McCain (RINO – AZ) is expressing disgust at the idea of an upcoming filibuster of unconstitutional gun control measures in the Senate. Video below.
UPDATE: Senators Paul, Lee, Cruz, Rubio and Moran now joined by Jim Inhofe OK, Richard Burr NC, Ron Johnson WI, Mike Enzi WY, Jim Risch and Mike Crapo of ID, Dan Coats IN and Pat Roberts KS.

Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, along with others, are expected to attempt a filibuster of the upcoming senate proceedings on gun control.
I don’t understand it. The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand (no mention of that pesky U.S. Constitution.)…What are we afraid of? Why would we not want… if this issue is as important as all of us think it is, why not take it to one of the world’s greatest deliberative bodies – that’s one of the greatest exaggerations in history by the way – but you know why not take it up, an amendment and debate. The American people will profit from it.
Guess what the supposed “conservative” Joe Scarborough of MSNBC said of the hypothetical filibuster? “The GOP is basically allowing themselves to put rapists’ rights over parents’ rights to keep their children safe.”
Liberals freaking out, always a good sign.
