The Hill and other sources are now reporting that Congress has scheduled its first hearing exploring the abortion practices of Planned Parenthood for next Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30 am. However, I think we have breaking news here in confirming that two survivors of saline abortions have been asked to testify. This was posted on Facebook by Gianna Jessen a well known abortion survivor today:
well, God has gone and done something i never expected exactly:
just got a call from Capitol Hill, melissa ohden and myself have been asked to testify in a preliminary congressional hearing to defund planned parenthood! finally! two actual saline abortion survivors will add their voices to this horror in our nation. and to fight to take this unspeakably evil organization who sells baby parts, down.
i couldn’t be more honored to stand with melissa. we each get five minutes and will be asked questions. i am told that it will be heavily attended and “fiery.” 10:30a eastern, wednesday morning. i was told the hearing is open to the public.
we go with Jesus, Who saved our Lives in the first place.
And on Twitter–Warning Graphic:

The Hill reports that, “Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens said Wednesday that she hadn’t been informed of the hearing but plans to “cooperate fully.” One can only hope that she is seated next to Melissa and Gianna (the abortion survivors) as long as security can ensure that Dawn doesn’t try to finish the job.
This is the right kind of #Awkward.
The hearing will take place in 2141 Rayburn House Office Building and will be webcast live at http://judiciary.house.gov/.
