Michael Carpenter gets a taste of his own medicine
Michael Carpenter was an advisor to former Democratic Vice-President Joe Biden and is currently the senior advisor for The Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. And, you guessed it, he has spent the last two years implying many of his critics are ‘puppets of Putin.’
A quick glance at his Twitter feed shows he’s hot on the pursuit of Russians and Russian connections, however tenuous. Enter journalist Max Blumenthal to give him a taste of his own medicine.
Be sure to follow Aaron Mate and Max Blumenthal. Along with Glenn Greenwald, they are some of the rare reasonable voices on the left reporting on the overblown #Russia narrative.
Thanks to @MaxBlumenthal and @aaronjmate, @mikercarpenter x-advisor to former VP Biden got called out for associating with #neonazis. Will his #McCarthyism smears make it all go away? > https://t.co/QHq4iLK2Aa pic.twitter.com/G9LSYlrRfs

This explains a lot. Blumenthal came up to me at a recent event in DC with a video camera in hand and kept asking me why I supported Ukraine’s “Nazi leadership” (while recording my responses). I dismissed him as a pro-Putin propagandist and walked away. What a sleeze. https://t.co/ZgRJSflWVV

— Michael Carpenter (@mikercarpenter) January 29, 2019As I said, it's @mikercarpenter's prerogative to avoid a Q about welcoming the founder of a neo-Nazi party (a fact). But will he retract his false claims about Max's Qs, as seen on video? Dare I say that to fabricate, & not retract, would be a sleeze move.https://t.co/x40t2kbu2c pic.twitter.com/AWmVtwQC4d
