Rand Paul, You can’t have open borders in a welfare state

In a free ranging discussion with talk radio host Bryan Fischer on Wednesday, Senator Rand Paul discussed many issues including, foreign policy and his differences with Marco Rubio’s immigration plan. “I do agree with Milton Friedman. You can’t have open borders in a welfare state.” And, yes, it sounds like Rand Paul’s team is thinking very seriously about a run for the White House.

Sen. Paul will give a speech at the Heritage Foundation next week that, “will discuss his vision of a foreign policy that respects the plain language of our Constitution, the legal powers of Congress and the proper duties of the Commander-in-Chief.”
