Is the left risking war with Russia for petty politics?
While I was grabbing a quick dinner of bean curd home-style at the local Dragon Express, I couldn’t help but overhear a middle-aged woman talking about her outrage that, I kid you not, “We’ve handed our country over to Putin.”
I tried my best to mind my own business and not burst out laughing. Finally, as I regained my composure, I inwardly groaned as I started to realize this poor deluded woman was likely a professor at Indiana University. You could just tell from her tone, delivery and, yeah, the campus was just across the street. Her poor students…
The woman went on to detail a web of ‘nefarious meetings’ (down to the minute!) between various officials connected to President Trump and other people allegedly tied with Vladimir Putin or Russian businesses, in general.
If only she could see herself in a split screen with Glenn Beck detailing on his chalkboard how President Obama was a communist, not so long ago! Warning, you’ll only need about 17 seconds of this:
Meanwhile this happens on CNN. Wait for it…
“Matthew wasn’t being rude to her…”
Before this current age of calling the 2016 election, ‘Hacked by Russia,’ the New York Times had these glowing words for this, “Russian spy”
Sergey Kislyak is one of Russia’s most direct links to the Obama administration…Current and former U.S. officials who know Kislyak describe him as a smart, genial technocrat with moderate influence in Moscow. He is not part of Putin’s inner cadre and has spent much of his professional career abroad. “He represents the interests and positions of his government very well…From NYT 2014: Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak is Moscow’s low-key man in Washington
Needless to say, I finished my bean curd home-style and got out of there…
Russian Ambassador who met with Sessions also visited Obama White House 22 times. #Riverdale

Can we really blame this woman for allowing Vladimir Putin to live in her head, rent free? After all, she reads this stuff in the New York Times and Washington Post. No alternative facts for her!
Well, Karen…
(Let’s call her ‘Karen.’)
If you’re reading this, all I can say is, you need some diversity in your life. Ideological diversity. However, because that could take time, here are a few voices on the left you should pay attention to. You are a ‘progressive,’ right?
Almost forgot. The following people didn’t vote for Trump…and I didn’t either…
Dennis Kucinich just said “I’ve seen the intelligence reports & there is no evidence of Russia affecting the election, NOT A CHANCE!” #maga pic.twitter.com/m05KmOFTv4

Next week, we’ll talk about the fact that finding your narrative lining up with George Bush and Dick Cheney should give you pause. And we need to talk about your last tweet…
