Ron Paul may be ‘THE ONE,’ but here’s the rub

“It’s the story of a lost city, lost opportunity, lost hope. A story of failed policies, failed leadership. A story of smooth-talking politicians, games of ‘he said, she said,’ rhetoric and division. One man has stood apart, stood strong and true. Voting against every tax increase, every unbalanced budget, every time. Standing up to the Washington machine. Guided by principle. Ron Paul, the one who will stop the spending, save the dollar, create jobs, bring peace, the one who will restore liberty. Ron Paul, the one who can beat Obama and Restore America Now.”

It’s all true. “Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even,” (Rassmussen).

But here’s the rub. He may be ‘The One,’ but he will never become president if his supporters don’t become activated. The one devotion you must have, for the next 15 months, is obtaining the skills necessary for effectively reaching your family and your community–your sphere of influence–with his message of real hope and real change.  It’s time to stop spinning our wheels.

If you desire to be a leader in this revolution, I have three steps for you to take, right now.

1.  Register with the official campaign as a volunteer.

2.  Join your local Meetup group. (None? Start it up!)

3.  Open your eyes to the truth about how elections are won.

If you’ve already finished steps 2 and 3, register with us to be alerted to the training necessary for building effective activism skills and pledge to engage with us here about what is working within your groups.

We are just getting started here at iroots.org and we’ve been very pleased with the traffic and responses. Here’s what Tom Woods had to say.

If you’re into political activism (at least for Ron Paul if not for anyone else), I strongly recommend spending some time with iroots.org

We haven’t rolled out our training resources and user forums yet (coming soon), but I can share with you that a big part of our mission is to get you off the internet!  More on that later…

P.S.  This isn’t a place for posting media clips about Ron Paul. There are plenty of sites like DailyPaul.com and RonPaulForums.com for this and discussion of policy. However, this ad was so kick-ass that we broke our own rules. Sign WavesHanging off highway over passes yelling at empty buildings.
