Debut of Bob Dylan’s Music Video, Duquesne Whistle

Batten down the hatches, folks. We are on the verge of the release of a new Bob Dylan album. And while we wait with bated breath for the Sept 11th release of “Tempest,” Dylan and co. have been kind enough to debut the music video for “Duquesne Whistle.” The video is directed by Nash Edgerton and features a cameo by his brother, Joel. The young actor portraying the doomed and not-so-successful suitor, Daniel ‘Cloud’ Campos, started out as a professional dancer. One wonders if he is depicting a story from Dylan’s own life in the video? Here is a sample of his work from a few years ago.
