Tonight’s Debate and Big News for Ron Paul

It’s been a big news day for presidential candidate, Ron Paul. Tonight, he heads into the Fox News presidential debate with the endorsement of South Carolina Senator Tom Davis and a national CNN poll which shows him in a statistical tie with Romney against Obama. (UPDATE: As of 8:15pm EST this is on the top of DRUDGE.)

UPDATE: Ron Paul Highlights from the Debate.

On Tuesday morning, Paul is slated for even more endorsements from a trio of South Carolina Senators.

News of the endorsements comes one day after Paul’s campaign scored a major coup by landing the endorsement of Lowcountry S.C. Senator Tom Davis – arguably the most influential conservative lawmaker in state government.

This is a major blow to Rick Santorum who recently courted Davis for his approval stating:

To get an endorsement from someone like Tom Davis is a big deal. It would speak volumes to folks and make them take notice and give us a look. (FITSNEWS.COM)

Comments from Senator Davis on his endorsement:

If you cannot stand Fox News, you can watch the debate from the Wall Street Journal page right here. Fox is encouraging viewers to “use Twitter to weigh in on who is dodging their questions and who is answering them.”

Just tweet “#dodge” or “#answer” with the candidate’s name, or use the voting buttons below.
