Rush finds in Walker a War Candidate he can really get behind

It’s honeymoon time for Scott Walker as he’s become the darling of neoconservatives and talk radio ‘conservatives.’ Never mind that Gov. Walker has argued against (supposedly) conservative orthodoxy on immigration. “If people want to come here and work hard and benefit, I don’t care whether they come from Mexico or Ireland or Germany or Canada or South Africa or anywhere else, I want them here.” (Gov. Walker was in favor of a Senate immigration bill that featured a path to citizenship.)

In case you doubt me, I think the photo Rush Limbaugh posted on Facebook today speaks for itself:

Like Mr. Limbaugh, Gov. Scott Walker suddenly loses all skepticism about ‘big government’ when it comes to issues of war. This Sunday, Gov. Walker staked out a position to make any war hawk envious. No uncomfortable quotes from the founding fathers’ skepticism of executive war powers, none of George Washington’s warnings about ‘going abroad to slay dragons’ or James Madison’s reminder that government leaders are not angels.

We need to take the fight to ISIS and any other radical Islamic terrorist in and around the world, because it’s not a matter of [if] they attempt an attack on American soil, it’s when.
