Are progressives itching to purge the US gov’t of Christians?

“Impeach,” short and simple was the message tweeted by journalist Glenn Greenwald in response to a story about Judge Allen McConnell (former president of Toledo’s NAACP) refusing to marry two women in his courtroom.

So, is it open season on any politician who holds to a traditional (pre-a-few-weeks-ago) view of marriage? Shouldn’t Justices Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito also step down or be removed for dissenting and holding to a bigoted belief akin to opposing interracial marriage?

What’s that phrase about reaping the whirlwind?
