I just had a civil debate about trans bathrooms on Twitter
I tried my best to misbehave, but I think I just had a civil argument with liberals on Twitter. Pigs fly! I must admit, I didn’t ask the most pointed question, “What are the only two genders?” You see, I was behaving a bit…
Here’s how it went down…
How about spoiling it with the ending first. Think of it as a prequel…

@ACLU Reality check. The bathroom will no longer be a #SafeSpace for either sex. #BiologyClass not #SocialJusticeBasketWeaving pic.twitter.com/veu9XXD7iN

@irootsorg @ACLU Are you arguing that by allowing trans students to use the bathroom of their gender we'll end up with more orgies?
— Gabriel Schenk (@gwjschenk) February 23, 2017
@irootsorg trans people are one of the most targeted minorities for SA and violence. If anything this will happen to them.
— Marlen (@marlenkomar) February 23, 2017
@marlenkomar You have to think outside the box. What about non-trans people who will take license? https://t.co/EnYYav1Tyh

@irootsorg @marlenkomar If a man wants to sexually assault a small girl I don't think he's going to be persuaded or dissuaded by a trans law
— Gabriel Schenk (@gwjschenk) February 23, 2017
@gwjschenk @marlenkomar Okay, but will it be easier or harder to commit?

@gwjschenk @marlenkomar So now women have to look a certain way? pic.twitter.com/6CgIt05OjS

@irootsorg @marlenkomar to have the benefit of not being stopped for going into a woman's bathroom, yeah. But 'woman' is defined broadly.
— Gabriel Schenk (@gwjschenk) February 23, 2017
@gwjschenk @irootsorg trans bathroom laws are there to tell trans ppl they dont have a right to exist in public spaces
— Marlen (@marlenkomar) February 23, 2017
@marlenkomar @gwjschenk Ah, so people w/ a different opinion are trying to destroy people? Got it.
— iroots.org activism (@irootsorg) February 23, 2017
@marlenkomar @gwjschenk If you are correct, (destroys people), would you support arresting those who hold this opinion you don't like?
— iroots.org activism (@irootsorg) February 23, 2017
@irootsorg @gwjschenk we don't need to arrest bigots, we need to make sure discriminatory laws dont pass.
— Marlen (@marlenkomar) February 23, 2017
@marlenkomar @gwjschenk How about no laws on the subject? My position.
— iroots.org activism (@irootsorg) February 23, 2017
And back home!
